On fourth day of our road trip, We finally get to the end point of Pacific Coast Highway. Also we passed through a tree and headed to a city called Salem in Oregon State.
I woke up to a very nice and chill weather, with tiny drops of rain along with super fresh air to breeze and enjoy! A moist on my face and skin, and low temperature that is kind of rare in warm Southern California. I admit I love this sort of weather (Maybe I should move somewhere higher in California to grab some cold weather!)
The owner of Pomo RV Park & Campground, has done a great job to build and manage this place. This is a clean and nice place and you can see that she still trying to make it better. Before continuing road trip, we decided to stop by a local cafe and have something as a breakfast. Hopefully, Foursquare led us to Headlands Coffeehouse. A nice place with a huge variety of coffee in a stylish way.
After breakfast, we met with Chandelier drive-thru tree. It says this is a 2000 year old tree with 315 ft height. As the name says, Chandelier tree is so huge that you can drive through this tree by your car! This tree is located near end point of Pacific Coast Highway. Our last stop in California is Crescent City. We will spend the night at a city called Salem, just before Portland.
Tip: Hot Water is Free!
In almost any case you encounter, you should pay for what you want. But hot water is free! As a tip to save a dollar of two everyday, you can bring your own tea or coffee with a french press with you and fill up your flask in fuel stations. So you can make your own tea or coffee whenever you want. French press is small and easy to carry, so it won`t be a waste of space.
